My wife chose it cos it could (a) put lots of magazine, (b) could be wheeled around, and (c) well, it looks really chic and I agree! It’s wonderful to be able to look at essentially a very rational object and say that it has distinctive design qualities… the hollow in the middle gives it an illusion of lightness and a rational approach to the function of putting drinks on a side table is met with a recess into the table-top.
